About us
“The European University of the Seas - SEA-EU” is an university alliance co-funded in 2019 by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Under the leadership of the University of Cádiz (Spain), and together with the partner universities of Western Brittany (Brest, France), Gdańsk (Poland), Split (Croatia), Malta and Kiel University (Germany) the alliance aims to promote student and staff mobility within Europe and to establish long-term inter-faculty cooperation between the six participating partner universities. SEA-EU plans to strengthen links between education, research and innovation, as well as to foster social engagement and environmental responsibility.
Enhancing mobility also includes virtual mobility, within the framework of which various e-learning projects are being developed.
How the platform works
Are you a student or interested person who wants to know more about sustainable use of the oceans?
Then you can register for free. We would like to ask you if you could fill in the questionnaire before and after you have finished our course. This would enable us to know your expectations as well as your needs and this would be used to improve our offer. Thank you!
After you have registered, you can try out our courses. Depending on which of our 6 courses you like best individually, you can start.
When you have completed a medium of your selected MOOC: text read, videos watched, quiz successfully completed, you can mark it as done (click on the button on the right - turns green).
When you have completed all chapters, you can navigate to the “ certificate” section and download your certificate.
